The Monthly Report tab shows screen views for each school in your district, month by month. It covers one school year at a time. You can switch to a view by educator for personal licenses. You can also download the table as a spreadsheet.
Only users with District Admin access can view District Usage Report. If you don’t have District Admin access, please contact QuaverEd’s Sales team for setup assistance.
How to Access the Monthly Report #
- Select the Admin Tools icon on your dashboard.
- Select District Admin to open the District Admin Dashboard.
- Select Usage Reports.
- Select the Monthly Report tab.
The header controls work the same on every tab. They’re described on the Overview page under Report Navigation.
Monthly Report Layout #

A row of controls sits at the top of the tab. At the top left is the School Year dropdown. Beside it is the license view toggle: School licenses and Personal licenses. At the top right are the Download Excel and Download CSV buttons.
Below the controls is the Monthly Usage by School table. The header’s date range display shows the selected school year.
Choosing a School Year #
The School Year dropdown lists the school years available to your district, newest first. A school year runs from July through June.
Choosing a year here changes the shared date selection for the whole report. The Overview and Detailed Report tabs then show that year as their date range. A date range chosen on those tabs shows here as its school year.
Viewing Monthly Usage by School #

The table heading reads Monthly Usage by School. Beside it, a subtitle names your district, the selected product, and the selected school year. The info icon at the top right of the table explains what each cell counts.
Reading from left to right, you will see the following columns:
- School: One row per school, in alphabetical order.
- Jul through Jun: One column for each month of the school year.
- Total: The school’s screen views for the whole year.
Each cell counts screens viewed for 10 seconds or more by licensed users. The count is for that school in that month. A school is where each user’s license is registered.
The bottom row, Total (sum of schools), adds every school together for each month. The table scrolls inside its card. The total row stays in view while you scroll.
Sorting by Total #
Select the Total column header to sort schools by total, busiest first. Select it again to sort quietest first. Select it a third time to return to alphabetical order.
Viewing Personal Licenses #

The toggle beside the school year switches the table between two license views. School licenses, the default, shows usage under licenses registered to a school. Personal licenses shows usage by educators whose license isn’t assigned to a school.
In the Personal licenses view, the heading changes to Monthly Usage by Educator. Reading from left to right, you will see the following columns:
- Educator: One row per educator with a personal license.
- Schools (roster): Where the educator is rostered to teach, plus schools their account can access. This isn’t necessarily where the usage happened.
- An educator with wide access shows a count, such as “(access to 131 more schools).”
- Jul through Jun: One column for each month of the school year.
- Total: The educator’s screen views for the whole year.
The bottom row reads Total (sum of educators).
Downloading the Table #
Select Download Excel or Download CSV at the top right to save the table. The file reflects the selected product, school year, and license view.
