The Curriculum Tracker tab shows how often each lesson in your district’s curriculum was launched. It plots launches week by week across a school year. Select any cell to see which educators launched that lesson that week.
Only users with District Admin access can view District Usage Report. If you don’t have District Admin access, please contact QuaverEd’s Sales team for setup assistance.
How to Access the Curriculum Tracker #
- Select the Admin Tools icon on your dashboard.
- Select District Admin to open the District Admin Dashboard.
- Select Usage Reports.
- Select the Curriculum Tracker tab.
The header controls work the same on every tab. They’re described on the Overview page under Report Navigation.
Curriculum Tracker Layout #
The School Year dropdown sits at the top left of the tab. Below it is the heading Curriculum Progress by Week. Its info icon explains how launches are counted. At the top right are the Download Excel and Download CSV buttons.
Under the heading, a short line states the scope shown, for example “All 23 lessons.” It has its own info icon. The heatmap table fills the rest of the tab. The header’s date range display shows the selected school year.
Choosing a School Year #
The School Year dropdown lists the school years available to your district, newest first. A school year runs from July through June.
Choosing a year here changes the shared date selection for the whole report. The Overview and Detailed Report tabs then show that year as their date range. A date range chosen on those tabs shows here as its school year.
Reading the Heatmap #
Each row is one lesson from your district’s scope and sequence, in order. Rows are numbered down the left. The unit name appears before the lesson name. For example, “Beat & Rhythm” then “Beat is in Your Feet.” Rest on a lesson name to see the full unit and lesson title.
Each column is one week, from Wk 1 through Wk 36. Each is labeled with its start date. Each cell shows how many times that lesson was launched that week. Darker green means more launches. An empty cell means none.
A launch is one sitting on a lesson by anyone with a valid district license. Views less than 30 minutes apart count once. One view must last 10 seconds or more. Rows keep their zeros. A lesson filed under several grades shows the same count on each.
The lesson column can be resized. Drag the divider at its right edge. With the divider focused, the arrow keys work too. Double-click the divider to reset it.
Viewing Educators for a Cell #
Select any cell with a number to see who launched that lesson that week. A dialog opens titled with the lesson name. Under the title, it shows the week label and how many educators launched the lesson.
Each educator is listed with their number of launches. An educator’s name is a link. Selecting it opens the Detailed Report tab and shows that educator’s daily activity. Select the Close button at the top right to return to the heatmap.
Downloading the Tracker #
Select Download Excel or Download CSV at the top right to save the heatmap. The file reflects the selected product and school year.
