PLC Needs Assessment #

Make your PLC page personal! Take a short self-assessment of your practice and we will build a learning path matched to your growth areas.

This short self-assessment is designed to help you reflect on your current instructional practices. Based on your responses, the system creates a personalized learning pathway tailored to your areas for growth.

The assessment is quick to complete, and your results help ensure that the professional learning you engage with is relevant to your individual needs and goals. You will also earn 75 points for completing the assessment, which will count towards earning your first badge.

Assessment Results #

After completing the assessment, you will be given your Assessment Results.

Here, you will find a snapshot of your current strengths and opportunities for growth. The category with the lowest score will determine the focus of your personalized learning path. You will be recommended 5 specific professional development resources from our library that address that specific attribute so you can immediately begin your focused learning. 

One of the great features of this platform is that you can retake the assessment whenever you would like. Your overall scores are tracked over time, allowing you to see your progress as you complete professional learning and continue to grow in your practice.

Library #

Open the Library, then use these tabs to browse all your content by type.

This is where you’ll find all of the available on-demand professional learning resources. Resources are organized by type, including training modules, webinars, and guides, making it easy to find the format that works best for you.

If you need an in-depth walkthrough of the Quaver curriculum and platform, be sure to check out our resources in the Training section of the library. These in-depth videos are designed to help you build confidence with our curriculum and support successful implementation in your classroom.

As you complete resources, the platform automatically tracks your progress. It also logs the time you’ve spent learning, which counts toward your professional development certificates. Whether you’re completing a quick guide or a longer training, your learning history is saved so you can pick up where you left off.

Live Webinars #

This area will feature upcoming live professional learning opportunities where you will be able to learn alongside other educators and engage with presenters in real time. Be sure to check back for announcements and registration information as new webinars become available.

PLC Profile #

Your profile is your personal hub for tracking your professional learning journey. Here, you can view the badges you have earned, monitor your progress, and see your growth as you advance through the platform’s progression levels, from Explorer to Expert.

Track your point status right here as you complete PD. As you complete PD, points will be automatically tracked and saved to your profile to count towards your progression. Once you have earned 500 points, you are considered a PLC Explorer. Make it all the way to 4,000 points to earn the title PLC Expert!

You can find badges you have earned here, too! From Getting Started to a Master Educator. Your badges will appear here as you make progress. 

This is also where you will find your professional development certificates. As you complete eligible learning experiences in the Library, your learning time is automatically tracked and applied toward your certificates. Once you have met the requirements, you can easily access and download your certificates directly from your profile, making it simple to keep a record of your professional learning.

You will also notice a Profile Progress box under the navigation menu on the left-hand side. This provides a snapshot of your level progress and tracks how many hours of PD you have completed, badges earned, and certificates.

So, be sure to check your profile regularly to see your latest achievements, monitor your progress, and access any certificates you have earned.
