Multimedia

Select Multimedia to begin customizing your own Quaver screen. Seamlessly add custom text, images, and audio to any Quaver lesson.

Multimedia screens can hold up to 10 images and 10 audio files.

Multimedia Features #

  • Title: To set a title for your multimedia screen, click on the text box at the top and press Enter to save.
  • Theme: Choose a color scheme for your slide by clicking on one of the available colors.
  • Text: Utilize the Text options to customize your text’s font, size, and color. Click ‘Add Text’ to insert a new text box or ‘Remove Text’ to delete a selected text box.
  • Image: Click ‘Add Image’ to insert a new image or ‘Remove Image’ to delete a selected image. The maximum image file size is 1MB.
  • Audio: Click ‘Add Audio’ to include a new MP3 file in your slide and ‘Remove Audio’ to delete a selected audio file. The maximum audio file size is 5 MB.
  • Add/Edit Notes: You can add custom notes to any multi-media screen using the ‘Add/Edit Notes’ icon.

Edit and Adjust Text Box #

  • To edit a text box, image, or audio file use the icons to adjust the text box size, edit text, layer multiple images, or delete the text box.
  • Select the Edit icon on any text box to edit the text or size of the text box. Once Edit is selected, change the text box size in the bottom right corner. Click anywhere to exit.
  • Select the Resize icon to resize a text box or an image. A red border will appear. Click and drag the white square to resize. Click anywhere to exit.
  • You will also see an Arrows icon when more than one image is layered on your screen. Use the up and down arrows to edit images’ order and layering style.
    • Note: this feature will only apply if images are layered on top of or below one another.
  • Select the Delete icon to delete a text box, image, or audio file from your screen.

Head to your My Custom Screens folder in Resource Manager to view your screen. This screen will remain in this folder ready to be added to a custom lesson or assignment at any time.

How do you upload Powerpoint slides into the multimedia. I want to create a lesson but want it in Quaver instead of Powerpoint.

      Hi Joy!

While you can’t upload a PowerPoint file directly into Quaver, you can absolutely recreate your slides using the Multimedia screen in a Quaver lesson. To do this, export your PowerPoint slides as image files (such as JPEG or PNG), then use the “Add Image” option in the Multimedia screen to upload them.

You can also add additional custom text, audio, notes, and a color theme to enhance the original look and feel of your PowerPoint slides. Just click “Add Text” to insert new text boxes, and use the edit tools to adjust fonts, sizes, and layering.

This lets you bring your PowerPoint content into Quaver in a flexible, interactive way!
