QuaverMusic includes an interactive library of more than 600 songs with supporting activities for use in the general music classroom. This documentation will walk you through how to navigate, launch, and teach from ClassPlay.

From your Teacher Dashboard, select the ClassPlay icon. This will load your interactive song library in a new tab.

Song List

The full list of songs can be found in the center of the ClassPlay homepage. From this list you can:

  • Scroll through the song titles using the bar to the right of the list or your mouse controls
  • Click the Play icon to preview the song directly from the list
  • Click Song Info icon to learn more about the song including the recommended grade levels, style, and key elements.

Recently released or updated songs will be indicated by a red star.

Search and Filters

If you already know the name of the song you would like to use (or even just part of the name), use the search bar to pull up songs containing the word or words you would like to search.

Click Filters to filter your search criteria by:

  • Grade
  • Category
  • Style
  • Instruments
  • Key (Tonality)
  • Meter
  • Solfège

Song Activities

Song Activities will vary based on the selected song. Primary activities for the song will appear along the bottom of the ClassPlay homepage. Additional Song Activities will be listed on the right-hand side of the center hub. Song Activities include:

  • Lyrics
  • QuaverBooks
  • History
  • Connections
  • Pronunciation
  • Movement
  • Assessments
  • And More!

Click on a Song Activity thumbnail or title to open it in a new tab. The Notes icon will give you more information regarding the Purpose, How to Use the screen, and suggested Classroom Activities to use with your students.


Each song also contains a number of relevant printables including lyrics and worksheets to address cross-curricular connections. Select a Printable title to open it in a new tab and use the browser options to save or print your selection.

Support Tools

Teacher Toolbox

On the left-hand side, you will see a selection of activities from your Teacher Toolbox.

Click Full Toolbox to access the complete collection, or click any thumbnail to launch the featured screen in a new tab.

Student Interactives

On the right-hand side, you will see a selection of activities from your Student Interactives menu. Click any thumbnail to launch the featured screen in a new tab.

Download Songs from ClassPlay

As part of an active license for QuaverMusic Resources, licensed users can request downloads of certain MP3 files for use only in rehearsals and live school-related performances. MP3 files for all songs in the Quaver Musicals can be downloaded from the website, subject to the restrictions below.

Other MP3 files can be downloaded from ClassPlay for Quaver original songs and for all public domain songs in our catalog. Not available for download are all copyrighted songs that Quaver has licensed for streaming purposes only. Once downloaded, the MP3 files can be used in school performances, but remain the property of Upon the termination of the Quaver Resources License, the licensed user agrees to delete all MP3 files that have been downloaded.

Moreover, the licensed user agrees not to copy or share these files with any other persons or organizations.

Not available for download are all copyrighted songs that Quaver has licensed for streaming purposes only.

How to Download a Song from ClassPlay

Search for the song you’d like to download MP3 files for. You’ll notice that many songs in ClassPlay have a blue download icon next to it.

Click the blue download icon to pull up a list of available tracks.

Select the tracks you’d like to download and click DOWNLOAD. You will be asked to read and accept the terms of use before downloading the MP3s to your device.
