  • The middle section organizes the results of your search into seven categories of Quaver resources
  • And the right section holds your personal folder system of resources.

Topic Index and Resource Sets

Use the Topic Index and Resource Sets options on the left-hand side of the screen to browse the Quaver library of resources.

Using the Topic Index:

  • Select a top-level topic, like STEM or Health and Wellness.
  •  This will open a number of sub-topics below it and return all the resources related to that topic in the middle section of your screen.
  • Results will be organized by colored tabs that categorize the type of resource.

Using Resource Sets:

  • This allows you to narrow down search results to show only your Custom Resources.

Search Results

Use the center section of Resource Manager to search for specific resources by title or keyword.

To search:

  • Start typing a term in the search bar and you’ll see suggested results that include that word or a related concepts or keywords.

  • Results in each tab are organized in alphabetical order and by default show only 22 results to a page. To view all results – simply click the yellow arrow to show additional resources.
  • You can also choose to organize your results in descending alphabetical order by clicking the blue SORT BY button to the right of the search bar and selecting TITLE (Z-A)

Use the options above the Topic Index to review and reset your search at any time.

  • Use the white arrows to the left and right of the home icon to move backwards and forewords in your search history.
  • Click the Home icon to reset your search.

As of August 2020, you can now generate a unique link to any single resource from Resource Manager or a Quaver lesson. Whether you are using Google Classroom, SeeSaw, or any other platform, simply generate and link to any single Quaver resource to support easy at-home access, no login required.

Select a resource from a folder or in the preview window that appears when a resource is selected.

In both places, select MENU and click GET LINK. Present the code for students to scan, select the text to copy, or click COPY RESOURCE LINK to automatically copy the link.

You can then paste that link on any platform that works for you — good for 45 days!

Folder System

On the right-hand side of Resource Manager, you will find a folder system used to organize your resources.

To create a new folder:

  • Select Menu and New Folder.
  • Name the folder.
  • Drag and drop any resources from your search results into the folder.
  • Use the grey arrow to the right of a folder to view its contents.

In this way, you can easily organize and return to resources you discovered for future use.

Additional tips for using Folders effectively:

  • Adding a resource to your folder creates a copy of the original resource. Any changes you make to the resource from your folder will not change the original resource.
  • You can nest folders within folders by selecting the top-level folder and selecting Menu and New Folder.
  • Folders are organized in alphabetical order. Many teachers preface their titles with a number system to control the display of folders.

Customization

Resource Manager is also home to powerful customization tools. Using the menu in the right-hand column, you can customize any lesson or assignment, or create your own from scratch.

To customize a lesson:

  • Move any Quaver lesson from your search results to your chosen folder.
  • Select the lesson and click Edit either in the preview window or from the Menu at the top of the screen.
  • To re-order activities: Drag and drop when the yellow arrow appears.
  • To remove activities: Select a resources, then click Menu and Delete.
  • To add activities: Drag and drop from any search results or select Menu and then New Screen to explore custom resource creation.
