How to Use a Student Recording Screen (For Students)

Copy and paste the following or send students/parents this link to page to explain how they can use a Student Recording Screen that you assign!

Hello Students!

Today, we’re going to learn how you can send a video to your teacher using the Student Recording Screen! Your teacher may want you to record yourself responding to a question or simply to say hello.

Let’s get started!

Once you have accessed your assignment from your teacher, you may have a video recording screen with instructions from your teacher, which you can find by clicking INSTRUCTIONS.

Following your teacher’s instructions, you’ll record a video!

Depending on what device you’re using (maybe you are using an iPad or maybe your parent’s computer!), you can either press record (Parents: If you are using a Chrome or Firefox browser, this is likely what you’ll see)

…or you may be asked to upload a video, which means you’ll record a video outside of Quaver and upload the file into Quaver. Parents: If you are not using Chrome or Firefox as your browser, this is likely what you’ll see. You may have to ask for a parent’s help to do this!

If you are recording directly into Quaver, remember that pressing STOP will STOP your recording when you are finished with it. If you are finished with your recording, you can press SUBMIT.

If you are NOT finished with your recording and hit RECORD again, this will start your video recording session over, erasing your work. Only hit STOP if you are completely finished with your recording.

If you have any questions, be sure to ask your teacher!

And most importantly, HAVE FUN!
